He was predeceased by: his mother Vada V. Cornell (Hiler); his brothers, James Cornell, George A. Cornell, Moris R. Cornell and Robert L. Cornell; his wife Joyce E. Cornell (Kromer); his daughter Juliana Sandoval-Munoz; and his granddaughter Kristiana Thoman (Yager).
He is survived by: his father Walter C. Cornell; his brother Claude W. Cornell [Opal Cornell]; his children, Jack W. Cornell, Jefferey M. Cornell, Jenifer L. Yager, Jody L. Blair and Johanna B. Cornell; and his granddaughters, Rosanne Miller and Cathy Petersman. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. Rohde & Son Funeral Home (3183 Linwood Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45226). Viewing was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Columbia Baptist Church (3718 Eastern Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45226). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
