He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith H. Lapirow and Dr. Bernard A. Schwartz. He is survived by: his wife Betsy K; his children, Melissa S. Greenberg (Missy) and Marvin H. Jr. (Chip); his grandchildren, Adam B. Greenberg and Rachael A. Greenberg; and his brother Ben H. Schwartz.

Memorial contributions can be made to The Taft Museum of Art "Love This House" Campaign, Plum Street Temple Historic Preservation Fund, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or the charity of one's choice.
