She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Eckstein and Edna Eckstein; and her husband John T. Rapien. She is survived by : her daughters, Theresa Mauntel (Mike), Victoria Rapien-Pryor (late Tony), Kathleen Abernathy (Nick), Elizabeth Abernathy (Russ), Jennifer Scola (John) and Caralee Ewry (Ralph). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Girl Scouts of Western Ohio as well as Queen City Hospice.
