It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary F. Grothaus (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mary departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Raymond A. Grothaus; her children, Michelle Neyer (Ed), David Grothaus and Melissa Hopewell (Dale); and her grandsons, David Michael and Sean Michael. She was also cherished by Mother was an inspiration to her children, grandchildren.
A Mass was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Church (3680 Warsaw Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45205). A burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery-W 8th (3819 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45205).
