Melvena Harris Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvena Harris (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on November 17, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Thomasine Craig Johnson; and her brother Derrick Johnson. She is survived by: her father Willie J. Johnson Sr.; her siblings, Vanessa Littlejohn (Wilbert), Willie J. Johnson Jr. (Diane), Sheila and Alisa Johnson; her husband Steven W. Harris; her former spouses, Kira M. Turner (Kenyon) and Deidra R. Sofer (Courtney); and her grandchildren, Keaton G., Mackenzie R. Turner and Kenyon A. Turner.

She later worked with dedication and integrity at Western & Southern Life and the KnowledgeWorks Foundation, where she retired in 2010.
