Merle A. Newberry Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle A. Newberry of Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Newberry and Pauline Wilson Newberry; his grandson Richard Andrew Carter; and his brothers, Lowell Newberry (Bonnie), Kenneth Newberry and Ron Newberry.
He is survived by: his wife Janice A. Newberry; his children, Marshall Newberry, Matt Newberry (Shawna) and Shannon Carter; his grandchildren, Jessica Carter, Jamie Hennigan (Luke), Allison Newberry and Dylan Newberry; his siblings, Charles Newberry (Norma), Dewey Newberry (late Joyce), Marlon Newberry (Freda), Maxine Fischer (late Jim), Patricia Radwick (Mike), Virginia Middlesworth (Steve) and Nancy Thomas; and his sisters-in-law, Juanita Newberry and Anita Walters. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home - Goshen Chapel (1668 OH-28, Goshen, OH 45122). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Merle Newberry to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or to the charity of one's choice.
