He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Wimmel (Toon); his parents, William Wimmel Sr. and Anna Wimmel (Kopp); his siblings, William Wimmel, Ronald Wimmel and Ruth Wimmel; and his granddaughter Parker Wimmel.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Wimmel, Mark Wimmel and Ana Gibson (Wimmel); his sister Mary Mueller (Wimmel); and his grandchildren, Paisley Wimmel, Piper Wimmel, Gunner Gibson and Jackson Wimmel. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
