He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Robert and Frieda Gates; and his sister-in-law Barb Gates. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hartoin (Nee Gates); his children, Kyle Hartoin (Ashley), Nathan Hartoin (Marissa), Marisa Miller (Zach) and Mikayla Hartoin; his grandchildren, Alden, Camden and Beau; his siblings, Donna Diers (Bob), Den Hartoin (Lois), Rick Hartoin (Karen) and Ron Hartoin (Patty); and his siblings-in-law, Steve Gates (late Nancy), Tim Gates (Nancy), Paul Gates (Deb) and Mary Antone (Mike). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
