He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Roether; his sons, Brian Roether (Megan) and Scott Roether (Robin); his grandchildren, Josephine, Juliet, Zachary, Casey and Nicholas Roether; and his siblings, Mary Jo Husman (Robert) and Mark Roether (Betty). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
