He was predeceased by: his father James N. McHugh. He is survived by: his mother Mary Clare McHugh (Eagen); his wife Heather McHugh (Haberman); his children, Katherine "Katie" and Evan; his stepsons, Carson and Lincoln; his brothers, James "Pat" (Jenna), Thomas (Annette) and Timothy (Amy); and his nieces and nephews, Gannon (Gillian), Erin (Ross), Kyra, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Michael, Andrew and Elizabeth. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lord Christ the King Church (3223 Linwood Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to the American Heart Association in honor of Michael L. McHugh.
