He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ruff and Sue Ruff; and his siblings, Terry Ruff of Jeff, CJ, Sallie Wegman and Peter Ruff.

He is survived by: his spouse Jude L. Ruff (Nee Corcoran); his child Marlana Wood (David); his grandson Gabriel Wood; his sisters, Linda Buckmaster (Jerry) and Debbie Silverman (Andy); and his siblings-in-law, Lois Ruff, Meredith Ruff, Joe Wegman and Melissa Rebel. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
