With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelson Richard Leist of Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on July 16, 2023 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nelson Richard Leist to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson F. Leist and Mildred Leist; and his wife Ramona Leist (Russe). He is survived by: his sister Ann Bushweit; his sons, Jeff (Susan), Scott (Pam) and Greg Leist (Lee); his grandchildren, Jeni Wengryniuk (Eric), Eric (Gretchen), Kevin, Kristin Kusy (Anton), Katie O'Bryan (Andrew) and Josh (Kenzy Blanton); and his great grandchildren, Logan, Bennett of Olivia, A. J. and Kiera. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

During the pandemic and the last years with Ramona he could not have shown her more care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to King of Kings Lutheran Church or to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
