Oliver Matthew Cagle Obituary
Oliver Matthew Cagle
Ollie’s fingers and toes were oh so long;
He had Daddy’s lips and was so incredibly strong;
Mommy’s eyes and Mommy’s nose;
We are so glad we are the parents that he chose.
Oliver Matthew Cagle was stillborn on Thursday, August 6th, 2020 at 9:57pm at Christ Hospital. He was 35 weeks and 6 days old, weighing 5 pounds 2 ounces and 18.5 inches long. Oliver was a very active baby in the womb who loved to move and use Mommy’s ribs as a jungle-gym. He seemed to love to dance to all kinds of music and would only settle down for his Daddy’s warm hands. It was discovered upon Oliver’s birth that he had passed away due to his umbilical cord being wrapped around his neck three times very tightly as well as kinked in a few locations. His appearance was angelic! He had his Mommy’s eyes and nose and his Daddy’s mouth. Ollie’s fingers and toes were so long and his skin so soft.
Ollie was blessed and conditionally baptized upon birth. He also received a conditional Confirmation where he was given the name Joseph, patron saint of protecting families. Oliver Matthew Cagle is loved and missed by so many. He was born perfect and is blessed to only know perfection in heaven with the Blessed Mother Mary, Jesus, and all the saints and angels.
Oliver’s Celebration of Life mass is scheduled for Friday, August 14, 2020 at 6:00pm at St. Lawrence Church, 3680 Warsaw Avenue Cincinnati Ohio 45205. Church doors will open at 4:30pm for a socially distanced greeting with Katie and Austin Cagle and the family. We ask that everyone wear a mask and maintain a respectable distance apart during this greeting and mass. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Heaven’s Gain Ministries online at https://heavensgain.org and/or to The Missing Alexis Foundation online at https://missingalexis.org. Both this ministry and foundation helped in providing information, bringing peace, and providing memory box materials for our toughest time. A donation to either of these organizations could help the next family who has to face such a tragedy.
Please come and help celebrate the life of our perfect guardian angel, Oliver Matthew Cagle.
