She was predeceased by: her husband Emilio Fernandez; and her parents, Dr. Tomas Yanes and Manuela Arguelles Yanes. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Otilia Fernandez (Thomas Perrino), Dr. Adelaida Fernandez and Emilio Thomas Fernandez (Susan Kelley); and her great grandchildren, Rafael, Luca Kim, Inez, Selena Burke and Nicolo Schram.
