He was predeceased by: his daughter Angie Bunnell; his parents, Marie Knue and Harry Knue; and his siblings, Raymond, Joseph, John, Donald, Rita Knue, Ruth Shilling, Doris, Sylvia Maurer, Helen Gerier, Bobby Jo Skillbeck, Martha Lauck and Monica Paff.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Knue; his daughters, Rita Boeing (Tony) and Lisa Boland (Mike); his grandchildren, Lindsay Moody (Zach), Ross Courtney (Mandy), Mallorie Boeing (Colby), Amanda Ashworth (David) and Lauren Boland; his great grandchildren, Zeus, Helix, Max, Alaina, Haley and Crew; and his siblings, Mary Anne Spille, Edward and Vincent. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
