It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis A. Herbst (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John R. Herbst; and her siblings, Frank Hellmann (Blanche), Clem Witte (Ed), Betty Bohman (Dick), Jim Hellmann, Jean Teipel (Paul), Lou Hellmann (Marlene) and Jack Hellmann.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo Witt (Pete), Peggy Laub (Steve), Jack Herbst (Toni), Sally Eckstein (Don), Nancy Hopkins (Mark), Betsy Wirfel (Greg) and Holly Aug (Brian); her grandchildren, Petey Witt (Krista), Heidi Witt, Kailyn Witt, Scott Laub, Adam Laub (Taylor), Jill Laub, Hannah Herbst, Gretchen Herbst, Jonathan Eckstein, Lindsey Dillon (Aaron), Megan Eckstein, Lizzie Eckstein, Andrew Hopkins (Michelle), Luke Hopkins (Lindsey), Amy Rolfes (Nick), Nathan Wirfel, Kristin Weidner (Curt), Katie Taylor (Sam) and Kevin Wirfel; and her great grandchildren, Peyton, Pete Witt, Mason Davis, Jaxon Niemer, Jamie Dillon, Emma, Ellie, Alisa Hopkins, Rose, Ruby Hopkins, Jackson, Elizabeth, Lincoln Weidner, Henry, Wyatt and Cora Taylor.
