She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Helm and Philippine Helm; her husband George Martin; and her brothers, Henry Helm (Eleanor) and Daniel Helm (Patty).

She is survived by: her children, Sue Lingerfelt (Gene), George Martin (Marty) and Lisa Neumeister (Dane); and her sister Liz Mudd (Merrill). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Phyllis' honor may be made to church or charity of choice.
