She was predeceased by: her father Roland Shelton; and her brothers, Lester "Dale", Cecil "Brub" and Michael Shelton. She is survived by: her children, Shavonna Gilbert and Michael Shelton Jr.; her grandchildren, Jayden, Evan and Kamden; her mother Clara Shelton; her siblings, J. D. Shelton (Jeanie), Alan Lee Shelton, Mitchell Shelton (Debbie), Danny Shelton and Bill Shelton; her siblings' children, Mindy and Matthew Shelton; and her close friend Sophie. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family.
