He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Schroer and Oliver Schroer of Delhi; his brothers, Elmer Schroer and Earl Schroer; and his son-in-law Doug Tucker.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Schroer (Dornacher); his brother Harold Schroer; his children, Ralph J. Schroer (Joanna), Gary Schroer (Laura) and Rita Tucker; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Schroer, Alexandra Schroer, Madeline Tucker, Celina Schroer Lilley (Christopher), Matthew Tucker, Caroline Schroer, Michael Tucker, Carl Schroer and Mary Kate Tucker.

Memorial donations can be made in Ralph's name to the St. Antoninus chapter of the St. Vincent DePaul Conference, online or at the church.
