He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Ann Hilgendorf; his children, Kathy Wyatt (Jeff), Doug Hilgendorf (Raquel), Mike Hilgendorf (Val) and Barb Sluder; his grandchildren, George Kramer, Brandi Sheldon, Shane Hilgendorf, Austin Wyatt, Hayden Sluder, Brady Sluder, Jared Hilgendorf, Whitney Sluder and Sydney Hilgendorf; and his siblings, Joyce Hoeksema, Harold A. "Jack" Hilgendorf and Jean Van Pelt. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
