He was predeceased by: his son Bob Burns; and his siblings, Sue Dearwester and Phil Burns. He is survived by: his wife Gerry Burns; his children, Jeff Burns (Meg), Curt Burns (Cheryl), Doug Burns, Jenny Weiglein (Jay) and Kenny Burns (Jenny); his brother Ken Burns (Rochelle); his grandchildren, Lucas, Amanda (Michael), Marie, Emma, Joss, Matthew, Delaney, Daisy, Mick and Melanie; and his great grandchild June. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
