He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Sue Lamping (Napier) and Richard Raymond Lamping; his siblings, Michael Napier, Charlie Napier and Shirley Thacker; and his mother-in-law Flora Booher.
He is survived by: his wife Trinity; his children, Adam Van Nest, Ryan Lamping, Taylor Svenkerud (Dustin) and Shelby Martin (Brannen); his siblings, Jimmie Napier, Sandra Meyer and Raymond Lamping; and his father-in-law Jerry Booher. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home (10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Instead, donations may be made to Lamplight of Hope, the nonprofit foundation Rick and his family founded to serve families with disabilities or dealing with hardship. Contributions in his honor will carry forward the generosity that Rick lived by.
