He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Maurer and Ruth Maurer; and his brother John A. Maurer. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann; his children, Gary Maurer (Kim Huskey) and Karen Parker (Ryan); and his granddaughters, Megan, Monica Parker, Lily and June Maurer.
