He was predeceased by: his sister Judy Taft; and his sister-in-law Corine Schueler. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Schueler; his children, Steve Schueler (Vera), Kristi of Alan Altman, M. D., Todd Schueler (Rosie) and Tara Poponyak (Scott); his grandchildren, Sophia, John, Kylie, Alexis, Nicholas, Nathalie and Makayla; and his siblings, Paul Schueler and Linda Riddle (George).
