He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles and Ruth Catherine Vestring; and his brothers, David and Ronald Vestring. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Vestring; his children, Beth Fischer-Reinhart (Paul) and Greg Vestring; his granddaughter Grace Fischer; his stepgrandchildren, Lauren and Jenna Reinhart; and his brother William Vestring, Jr.. He is also survived by friends and family.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to The Legacy at Liberty Ridge or the Alzheimer's Association.
