We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2025, at the age of 90, Richard Nelson Vetter of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Vetter and Sarah Vetter. He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Ward (John Jr.); his grandson John "Trey" Ward III; his great grandchildren, Justice Rucker, Joann Ward and John Ward IV; Sharen Everson (late Simon, family: Sally Nadler, Susan Florimonte, Robert Johnson). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3300 Parkcrest Ln, Cincinnati, OH 45211).
Donations may be made to Syrian Shrine HTA Fund, for transporting children to the Shrine Hospital.
