He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Jenny Meiners; his sons, Ben Meiners (Genevieve) and Dave Meiners (Sarah); his grandchildren, Holden, Brynn, Ellie, Charlie and Sam; his siblings, Louis Meiners (Libby), Elaine Westrich (Ray) and Dan Meiners (Mary); his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Scherra (Kath Moore), Emily Lemming (Rich) and Tony Scherra (Karen); and his parents, Louis Meiners and Esther Meiners.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Antoninus Church (1500 Linneman Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Joseph New Cemetery (4500 Foley Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238).
