He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jenny Meiners; his sons, Ben Meiners (Genevieve) and Dave Meiners (Sarah); his grandchildren, Holden, Brynn, Ellie, Charlie and Sam; his siblings, Louis Meiners (Libby), Elaine Westrich (Ray) and Dan Meiners (Mary); his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Scherra (Kath Moore), Emily Lemming (Rich) and Tony Scherra (Karen); and his parents, Louis Meiners and Esther Meiners.
