He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert August Kaupp and Gertrude Clara (Voelpel); and his sisters, Carol Woods and Bonnie Lyon. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, DeeAnn (Tim), Felicia (Ron), Trina (Darren), Logan (Juela) and Kelly (Sarah); his grandchildren, Emily, Lillie, Kenny, Ada, Reese, Kaden, McKenna, Cordelia, Sarhea and Kelby; and his great grandchildren, Weston and Wyatt. He is also survived by spouses, and his grandkids.
He was active in many community organizations, including the Newtown Civic League, where he helped organize the annual 5K race along with some of his best friends in his life as they spent countless hours getting the park ready for the race and collecting donations and registration, with all proceeds benefitting youth groups in Newtown.
