He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Habel and Margaret Habel (Krebs); his sister Mary Lou Mohrhaus; and his wife Maureen. He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Ochs; and his children, Bob Habel, Jr. (Judy), Mike Habel (Lisa), Pat Habel (Jan), Amy Osterman (Jeff), Dr. Todd Habel (Maureen), Chris Habel (Angela) and Ali Morin (Dave).
Bob and Maureen, who passed in the early weeks of COVID of complications from surgery, started their marriage with less than a dollar between them.
