He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arthur Johnston and Vera Judy Johnston; and his sister Betty Johnston Lindner. He is survived by: his brother John David Johnston of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, John Arthur Johnston III (Lauren), Jay Johnston, Jayne Johnston, Linda Johnston Waller and Scott Johnston Waller (Helena); his great grandchildren, John and Archie Johnston; and his close friend Susie Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Cincinnati Nature Center (https://cincynature.ticketapp.org) which was one of Bob's favorite charities and places to visit in Cincinnati.
