He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Kanter and Molly Kanter; and his siblings, Hyman Kanter, Louis Kanter and Ruth Schlacht.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Kanter; his sons, Mark Kanter (Marcy), Fred Kanter (Kathy) and Daniel Kanter (Mary Sutton); his grandchildren, Jeremy Kanter (Irina), Molli Kanter, Sophie Kanter, Sammy Kanter (Zvi Zobin), Annie Kanter (Justin Kohl), Sarah Leitman (Jon) and Robert Kanter; and his great grandchildren, Masha Kanter, Bella Kanter, Archie Kohl and Mia Kanter-Zobin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wise Temple (8329 Ridge Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45236). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
