It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Alfieri Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Sr. Alfieri and Linda Alfieri (Martin); his wife Joanne Alfieri; his son Joseph; his siblings, Marty (Deanna), Mike (Eileen) and Kassie Herzog (Andy); his nieces and nephews, Amanda, Jacob, Tess, Joey, Sydney and Ellie; and his father-in-law Jim McLelland. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, colleagues, and friends.

I asked Rob why a guy as bright as him would leave private business where he could make a lot of money and instead decide to work for the county. He simply replied that working for the public and serving others was a better fit for him. In quiet and unseen ways, Rob made life better for all of us.”
