He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Gantzer; his sister Joan Gantzer; and his parents, Lawrence "Larry" Gantzer and Jeanette "Jean" Gantzer. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet (Deyhle), Judith "Judy" (Higgins) and John "Jack" Gantzer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
