He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra Phillips; his grandchildren, Kallie, Scott, Samantha, Owen and Gavin; and his siblings, Peggy Pittman-Imhoff and Nancee Ponder.

“I am deeply saddened over Jack's sudden passing on 2/16. He and I grew up in church and school together. My mother Grace and his mother were very close friends. Jack was a wonderful man, kind and generous. His own father died far too young, so I am especially grieved that Jack, too, died so young. Jack was a 1964 Sycamore High School graduate; I, 1963. I know ALL of his family and friends will miss him greatly. Please accept my deepest sympathy in this very painful time.”
