He was predeceased by: his daughter Tracy Pope Holden; and his parents, Robert Pope and Edith Pope. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Ann Pope; his son-in-law Keith Holden (Kelly); his grandchildren, Grace, Nicholas Holden, Brendan Schoening and Meghan Bulen (Ethan); his brother Richard Pope (Eileen); his nephews, Steve Pope (Missy) and Jeffrey Pope (Linda); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Riley, Avery, Derek and Finley Pope.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas-Justin Memorial (7500 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, June 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Columban Catholic Church (894 Oakland Rd, Loveland, OH 45140).
