He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Tierney and Melba C Tierney; his son Dennis Tierney; and his father-in-law Maynard Shaw (Rose). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Tierney; his children, Shannon M. LaBrecque (Leonard) and Brian Patrick Tierney (Jason); his grandchildren, Colleen Williams (Andrew), Brennan LaBrecque, Cameron LaBrecque and Allison Mae LaBrecque; his great grandchildren, Bradley Joseph Williams and Madalyn Rose Williams; his brother James Tierney; and his nephew Griffin Tierney.
In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations to be made in Robert's honor to St. Jude's and The Tristate Honor Flight Organization.
