She was predeceased by: her sisters, Laura Paulin (Roger) and Martha Courtot; and her parents, Robert Courtot and Silverbell Courtot. She is survived by: her husband Dan Whitacre; her children, Robert "Bobby" Courtot (Rebecca) and Laurie Huff (Jason); her grandchildren, Christina, Brittany Courtot, Eric Huff (Brooke), Josh and Owen Huff; and her brother Michael Courtot (Cheryl).

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
