He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Frey and Dorothy Frey; his wife Mary Ellyn Frey; his siblings, Richard Frey (Janice), Lawrence Frey (Phyllis), Carol Klosterman (Ron), Joe Frey and Mary Lou Frey; and his in-laws, Gerald Dirr (late Carol), Eugene Dirr (late Margie), Patricia Spanagel (late Richard) and Sharon Geisheimer (late Bob).
He is survived by: his children, John Frey, Mary Joy Frey and Michael Frey (Jenny); his grandchildren, Rachel Frey, Emily Earls (Chris), Sarah Berger (Kyle), Tyler Frey, Lily Frey, Ella Frey and Chris Frey; his great grandchildren, Ryan Earls and Melody Earls; and his siblings, Evelyn Frey, Sr., Annette Catherine Frey, Barbara Buelterman (Raymond), Bob Frey, Virginia Zinser (Tim), Kenneth Frey and Charles Frey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
