He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Turvey and Zula Turvey; and his brother Ed Turvey. He is survived by: his wife Connie Turvey; his children, Andrea Shanklin (Shaun) and Aaron Turvey (Joellen); his grandchildren, Braeden Shanklin, McKenzee Shanklin, Kyla Turvey and Jillian Turvey; and his siblings, Tom Turvey (Carole) and Jeannie Gilbert (Albert). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ron's name to the softball program at Springdale Nazarene Church.
