He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Leist (late Sadie) and Ida Foster (late Raymond); his wife Patsy Jean Leist; his stepchild Charlie Horlander (late Vernie); his brother Howard Leist (Mary Lou); and his stepbrother Raymond Foster.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Leist Jr., Vicki Couch, Timothy Leist (Angela) and Ronna Baldwin (Jason); his stepdaughter Patsy Woehmeyer (John); and his siblings, Linda Leist and Ricky Foster (Geri). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home (2553 Banning Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45239). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Friends and family will gather from 12:30 PM until the time of service at 1:30 PM.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in his memory.
