Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Rosaleen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Simpleman and Rose Simpleman (Bilotti); and her brothers, Charles Simpleman and Robert Simpleman. She is survived by: her siblings, Charity, Rosalie Amato, Barbara Dwyer and Louis Simpleman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
After beginning her college education at Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado, and teaching for one year, Sister Rosaleen entered the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati on Sept. 8, 1955.
