She was predeceased by: her son Bernard; her husband William Gary; her son Kenneth Gary; her parents, Katie Hicks and Roosevelt Hicks; and her brothers, Charlie, Dewey and Clifford Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, William Gary Jr. (Ruth), Yvonne Driessen (Daniel), Robert Gary (Nancy) and Denise Gary; her grandchildren, Sylvester, Robert Jr., Bernard Jr., Dominique, April, Devon, Amber, Byron and Deanna; and her sister-in-law Ipa Spalding. She is also survived by nieces, nieces, other relatives and friends.
