With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra L. Schafer (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on January 4, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Schafer and Lora Schafer; her daughter Barbara "Jeanie" Hickson; her grandson Sam Codling; her friend Leslie L. Codling; Bob Schafer (Bea), Karen Dean (Herm) and Sandy.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Rottenberger (Billy), Les Codling (Kristi) and Sandy Puthoff (Bill); her son-in-law Earl Hickson; and her grandchildren, Kris Hickson, Stephanie Hickson (Tony), David Hickson (Beth), Kadi Moorman (David), Sarah Frohmiller (Taylor), Zac Codling (Haley), Bee Puthoff, Ally Puthoff, Taylor, Kori, Andie Moorman, Miles Mays, Olivia Newton and Cali Codling. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
