We announce the death of Sherrin Kay Ashcraft in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 83. Sherrin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Ray; her parents, Roy L. Ashcraft and Phyllis Ashcraft (Donoghoe); and her stepdaughter Mary Katherine Knecht (Kitty). She is survived by: her siblings, Terrell Hodge (James), Mary Jo Borho (Dodie), R. Patrick Ashcraft (Mary), Jaculin Iler (Doug), Pamela Delaney (Peter), Miriam Fairbanks, Anne Ashcraft, Michael Ashcraft (Sandy), Timothy Ashcraft (Jane Lowe) and Kim Medley (Tim); her stepchildren, Raymond H. Dye (Toby), Joseph R. Knecht, Anne Chipman and Carolyn E. Knecht (Carrie); her granddaughter Amanda Knecht Dye (Rodolfo Sanchez) of Sarracino; her great grandchild Niccolo Dye (Nico) of Sarracino; and her grandchild Caitlyn Knecht Dye (James Patrick Murphy). She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews; and one great, great niece.
