She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Herman and Susan Herman; and her sibling Jean Eckerle. She is survived by: her niece Carla Franke; her grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Maximilian Franke; and her siblings, Marilyn Herman and Charles Herman. She is also survived by her family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Matthew 25 Ministries to provide relief to flood victims.
