She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Bernstein; her brother Stanley Tennenbaum; and her grandson David Peroff. She is survived by: her children, Linda Peroff (Mark), Jimmy Bernstein (Barbara) and Alan Bernstein (Mary); and her grandchildren, Bryan, Michael Peroff, Rob, Brad, Amy Bernstein, Terri and Benjamin Bernstein. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

Donations in Shirley's honor may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, the SPCA of Cincinnati, or the Kentucky Restaurant Association.
