She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Ferris (Baker) and James William Ferris; and her brother James William Ferris Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Vincent "Vince" Salvato Jr.; her children, Tony (Chris) and Amy; her grandson Cole Salvato; her sister-in-law Sharon Ferris; and her nephew Trey Ferris.
In 2020, as her health began to decline during the COVID pandemic, Sunny spent more time at home.
