He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Ryan, Kevin Ryan and Maureen Donoghue (Richard). He is survived by: his wife Diana Ryan; his children, Brandon Ryan, Jered Ryan (Jen), Alyssa Lamont (Joe) and Tara Knecht; his grandchildren, Jenna Ryan, Ryan Lamont, Madison Knecht, Sydney Pickerell (Zach), Bowie and Harlow Ryan; and his great grandchild Connor Pickerell. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stephen's favorite charity, St. Vincent DePaul at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

He would casually bestow his knowledge, would willingly take me on family vacations to Chateaugay, and always took me to church on Sunday when I spent the night (which was all the time). He will be greatly missed. My condolences to Mrs. Ryan, my best friend Jered, his wife Jen, their children, and all his siblings. -Zach Willwerth”
