He is survived by: his wife Michele Lynn "Mick" Carpenter; his children, Jeremy Carpenter (Kylene), Amanda Uhl (Kevin), Emilie Wright (Stephen) and Andrew Carpenter (Abigale); his grandchildren, Kenzie, Kelsey, Tyler, Olivia, Sophia, Lily, Sadie, Hayden, Elijah, Evelyn, Austin, Rhett and Zeke; and his brother John Carpenter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Steve's name to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati.
