He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Custer and Joan Custer; and his brother Greg Custer. He is survived by: his siblings, Jenny Southerington (Craig), Jim Custer, Gail Gundrum (late Yatz), Diane Custer, Dave Custer (Ann) and Tom Custer (Beth).
